Sonoma Valley Pest Control has been in business since 1950. We are licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board as well as the Department of Pesticide Regulations. This allows us to offer more services than the average pest control company.

In October of 2024, Tami Newman and her Mother, Debbie Castle purchased the business from Ron Kaczmarek and has continued to offer first-class service to all clients. Like Ron, Tami and Debbie have deep roots in Sonoma County.

Tami Newman

Tami brings over 10 years of experience in the pest control industry and has been an integral part of the company’s success long before taking ownership herself. As a licensed Branch II Field Representative, she is hands-on in the field and dedicated to delivering high-quality service to every customer. She absolutely loves what she does every day, and the relationships she has built with her loyal customers over the years always bring a smile to her face.
Tami holds a degree in Financial Accounting from Sonoma State University and balances her professional life with being a proud mother of three. Outside of work, Tami enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, camping, and swimming. In business, she is committed to ensuring each client receives a customized plan for their pest needs.
Debbie Castle

Debbie Castle is a proud Petaluma resident, mother of three, and grandmother of seven. After retiring in 2017 from a 25-year career with the United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency, she came out of retirement in 2024 to embark on a new venture.
Alongside her eldest daughter Tami, Debbie purchased Sonoma Valley Pest Control, a locally owned business committed to serving Sonoma County with care and integrity.
Debbie is passionate about family, community, and continuing to make a positive impact through her work.
